REMEMBRANCE DAY POEM

Remember those who fought for us, us on World War 1,
Either woman or man, tall or small, those who held a gun.
Many people risked their lives, for you and me today,
Everyone who fought back then, we thank you every day.
Many people died back then, many still alive,
Buried in the ground, living a better life.
Remembering those who fought that day, theyll be in our prayers.
All of the days that passed, every single week,
Never did you give up, never were you weak.
Celebrating you on November the 11th
Eleventh hour of the eleventh day, 1 minute of silence.

Dead or alive, we thank you all.

And poppies to remind us all,
You inspired us.
