This semester took some getting use to in order to succeed.

For me, I know

that I tried my hardest in all of my classes and I dont have any regrets on papers,
projects, and tests. UWRT was one of those classes that I looked forward to during
my Mondays and Wednesdays. Not only because it was my last class of both days
(unless my chemistry teacher assigned us a test or quiz on Monday night), but also I
enjoyed the class in general. I liked the small classroom setting and even though I
had never met anyone in my class previously before the beginning of that class, I felt
as if I could be friends with everyone in there. Buy more importantly Mrs. Grant was
a very accepting professor. I liked how she brought out the social media side of all of
us, and she did so in an academic setting. Also, out of all of the professors/ teachers I
have had in my lifetime, she showed the most youth and brought it out in her
students. I also enjoyed the excitement she brought to her teaching, which means
that she really loves what she is doing, and I congratulate her for that. I loved my
UWRT class and Im glad I was in Mrs. Grants for my first semester in college.
I have also grown in my literacy, as far as writing goes. I feel more open to
new ideas in writing, such as Haikus and multimodal. I also learned about all of the
different types of genres, which is basically anything in which humans use to
communicate to one another. I had grown accustomed to text being the only form of
genres, however this semester I have learned that even Instagram is a form of genre
used to communicate many meanings, based on what the viewer interprets. I will
strive to keep up my effort in all of my classes and Im sure I will never forget Mrs.
Grants UWRT class.
