GENERAL, Scope This specification covers the minimum requirements for the design, materials, fabrication, procurement, assembly, overall quality control, ‘inspection and testing of the sick bay and first aid equipment. The intent of this specification is to describe the minimum acceptable criteria relating to the supply of the required equipment. Compliance with this specification does not relieve the Vendor of the responsibility for furnishing equipment of proper design and construction and fully suitable for all specified operating conditions.
