Understand what sin does

Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of
you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.’’
In the end, bites and kills. To day: while He is still calling us. If live in sin, hardens
heartstone.

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.’ (Matthew
24:12)
People who have walked in the truth, lived in sin, let things slip, did not seek
repentance, gave into things. If you could see them today, you would see what sin
does.

Ephesians 4:18,19 “Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the
life of Elohiym through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of
their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness,
to work all uncleanness with greediness.”
Something happened that darkened them. “blindness” – hardness. This is what
happens when we live in sin. Give selves over, so no more feeling. Have lost their
conscience. Alienates us from the life of Elohiym. We have to make a decision in
our hearts – There’s going to be no sin. How to do this – by being committed to
obey Him. Revenge all disobedience. Ground that has hardened, the more you
water it, the harder it gets. An unrepented heart – you can’t plant any seed in that.
*There is a remedy for a hardened heart, an unrepented heart.

Hosea 10:12 “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your

fallow ground: for [it is] time to seek Yahveh, till he come and rain righteousness
upon you.”
Repentance. Change heart and mind, the way we think. Change of purpose: then
able to receive good seed. Instead of walking in disobedience, purpose to obey Eyl.
Examine selves. Search and see what is pleasing to Elohiym, and if our life is in
accord with that.

Romans 2:4,5 “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and
longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of Elohiym leadeth thee to
repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself
wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of
Elohiym;”
Purpose of heart still to walk in disobedience. It is Elohiym’s goodness that leads us
to repentance. We should rejoice in this.

One thing that might keep people from repenting is not believing that He will
receive us. But He is really true – His anger will turn away.
