ABSTRACT
This study is aimed to examine the practicality and applications of the Aakers
customer-based brand equity model on the Vietnamese automobile market. In this way, this
research has quantified impacts of dimensions of brand equity on overall brand equity and a
mutual correlation between dimensions as well. The results of the study can help automobile
companies understand more clearly the roles and importance of each dimension influence on
overall brand equity. This is one of the most important basics for the development of their
strategies and policies concerning branding in the current Vietnamese automobile market.
