Reflection.

Having in consideration that we have preparing ourselves to teach English, yet we are more
prepared and informed on the language rather than in the way to deliver what we know, it is
important to have this kind of courses, where we receive a proper preparation to improve our
future practices.
The first unit was useful, to be prepared to identify problems in our students and discover
ways to fix those errors. Nevertheless, this is hard to fix forty problems, so it is compulsory to
come with an idea to try to solve most of our students doubts and issues.
The second unit was as useful as it was the first one. Even though we receive an English
teaching book, these are not always complete in terms of skills developments, for instance. It
is important to identify and evaluate the textbook, in order to make decisions about activities
other that the ones in the book, related with the areas that are not covered by the book and
that are equally important to the national curriculum.
To conclude, it is hard to say that whether this course is important, because all the courses of
our major are important as they develop different areas of the pedagogy. Yet I can say that
during this semester I learn many things as the ones expressed before, I this course also helped
me to clarify doubts from previous courses.
