Before we started doing our storyboard, we firstly did the shot list in
order for us to get a better understanding of how teaser trailers
work. Further to this, during our lesson we watched several teaser
trailers one of them being The Evil Dead, by watching these
trailers, we were able to produce our own storyboard. storyboard.

Within the commencing of our

trailer we have chosen to
show our production ident as it
is important for the audience
to know whose film it is.

Majority of horror films, they

intent to show normality within
the beginning of the trailer. To
allow the audience to get
sense of idea of the narrative.
In addition, we have also
mirrored this idea of normality
within the first scene.

We have used extreme close-up

shot with no sound or dialogue
to show that it is the end of
normality and within this shot
there is no movement other than
the reflection of the reporter from
Ashs glass TV.

Our intentions of using title

cards is to add more tension
into our trailer.

Throughout these shots the

pace of the editing will
appear quite slow, to
suggests that the narrative
has changed.

We have used this title card

to imply that Ash is no
longer herself and from
here the pace of the editing
increase.

Within all of these shots the pace

of the editing will still remain fast to
suggests that no one is safe from
the evil force.

Fear as soon as this title card

appears the pace of the editing will
change dramatically, further to this,
we have used this method in order
for us to show individuals facial
expression.

The title of the film and the

release date will appear toward
the end.
