1. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of whole wheat
panko, 1 tablespoon of each freshly
chopped parsley, rosemary, chives, and
thyme, 1 tablespoon of basil, 1 teaspoon
fresh ground black pepper, 1-3 teaspoons of
saffron (| have a lot on hand so | used about
2 tablespoon, but you can reduce the
amount due to cost), 1/2 cup of low fat
shredded cheese, and about 1 tablespoon
of @FlavorGod Garlic Seasoning.
2. Take chicken breast and individually coat
each breast with a generous amount of
panko mixture. | lined the bottom of the pan
with the mixture and placed each chicken
breast on top. You can use flour and egg to
coat first before putting the panko crust to
help it stick better, but for calorie/macro
sakes | didn't do that for this dish.
3. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 20
mintues. Blanch asparagus and | bought
already cut cabbage and carrots for the bed
of salad underneath the chicken. Enjoy and
happy eatings!
