Sixth graders play

Narrator: Polydectes fell in love with Danae when she and her son Perseus were saved by his
brother Acrisius). Perseus was very protective of his mother and wouldn't allow Polydectes near
Danae. Therefore, Polydectes made a plan to kill Perseus so he could marry her.
Polydectes: I love Perseus mother, Danae, and I don't want him to interfere... Perseus, if you bring
me the Medusa's head I will leave your mom in peace.
Hermes: to kill medusa you need three items, the gray sisters know where to find them. And take
this magical sword to help you kill the medusa.
Athena: Perseus, don't look medusa to his eyes or you will become into stone. Take this shield and
use it as a mirror.
Perseus: thank you very much,
Narrator: Perseus found the gray sisters, took their eye and forced them to tell him where to find the
gorgones.
Gray sister 1: give us the eye!
Gray sister 2: please, the eye, we cannot see without it.
Gray sister 3: we will do anything you want, but give us the eye!
Perseus: if you don't tell me where I can find the nymphs, I will throw it to the lake.
Gray sister 1: this is a map where you can find them.
Narrator: He arrived to the nymphs and received the winged sandals, a bag for the medusa's head
and a helmet which made him invisible.
Nymph 1: hi Perseus, to kill medusa is not easy, take these sandals that will make you fly.
Nymph 2: take also this bag to put medusa's head when you cut it.
Nymph 3: this is a magical helmet, it will make you invisible.
Nymphs 1, 2 and 3: have a nice journey.
Perseus: now I am ready to kill medusa.
Narrator: Perseus arrived to medusa's cave
Medusa: who are you?
Perseus: I'm Perseus and Im here to kill you
Medusa: hahaha, you will become into stone like everyone
Perseus: that has yet to be seen...
After the fight Perseus cut Medusas head by using his shield as a mirror.
