Child Case Study Report

Introduction- In a brief paragraph provide context for case study, (child's name, birthday
age, gender, grade level, class observed in, childs background, physical characteristics)

Sum up student's characteristics for each developmental domain.


a. Supply clear and well-organized analysis of the student's development.
b. Support analysis with evidence (examples and if possible some of the child's work
c. Note discrepancies from expected development
d. Show ways case illustrates diversity in development.
e. Cite concepts evidenced in child's work and play.

Suggestions : Make suggestions for giving positive support to student's developmental


progression.
Suggestions should reference background dynamics that are important influences on this
particular student's development.

Challenges: In two or three paragraphs, discuss what aspects of development you


were not able to gather sufficient data. (What were the reasons?) Describe what
additional data you would need to conquer these challenges.
