SOME ANSWERS FOR YOU!

1. Yes, students may work on the tech fair entry at home and it does not need to be a
teacher/school assigned project. Students will be interviewed for about 15 minutes at the
regional fair to make sure that they completely understand the project and determine their
understanding of all components of their projects.
2. Projects should all be shown online (for instance the Publisher document or Digital Photography
document should be online) as well as a hard copy.
3. Computers that the student is borrowing from school students MUST sign on that computer at
their home school in order for the computer to recognize them out of the district server.
4. Students must have ALL rights to any songs/people in video or digital or web images. They need
to get releases in writing or explain how it is public domain.
5. ALL students at the regional level will take the literacy challenge for a chance to represent our
region in this category. This does not count as a participating category it is an allowed extra.
