CONCLUSIONS
Improved the strength and deformability

Significant enhancement in energy dissipation


The efficiency of the external CFRP jacket on the
compressive strength, and particularly on the
deformability is much more pronounced when the
unconfined concrete compressive strength is
relatively low

The analytical results obtained by these simple


expressions are in good agreement with the
experimental data presented in this study
