Aztec was an empire
which had one of the
most brilliant civilizations
in the ancient world.
Aztec empire was located
in Central Mexico. The
most surprising thing is Aztec people built their cities on a
really high place; a mountain. There were many other
cultures which formed in Mexico; Maya, Olmec, etc. The
city that Aztec people build first was Tenochtitlan which
was built on a huge lake. Aztec people built 2 other cities
too; Texcoco and Tlacopan. The Valley of Mexico was
ruled by those 2 cities until the Spanish arrived. But
Tenochtitlan became the most powerful city.
