The Tariq Metwally as My Partner Experience
Working with Tariq was a really cool experience. I havent had to work with people in a
fairly long while, but this experience was a very enlightening one as well as an enjoyable one.
As far as being a productive experience, this one exceeded the standards. Even though we did
have our problems, overall our work was very positive in nature, as well as educational. This
topic was one that really hit home for me, due to the fact that I am a Ukrainian and this dispute
directly involves Ukraine and its people, and Tariq could also relate with me because his home
country of Egypt has had its rough patches of history as well. Tariq is a great guy and working
with him was really cool.
I would have to say that the most frustrating thing about this project was the time
management that we had to implement. Tariqs schedule did not really match mine, so getting
together to work on projects was kind of a difficult thing to do, and when we could do it, we had
to rush to get everything done. This was actually the only problem that we had. When it was
crunch time, Tariq came through with all of his work on this project and really allowed us to
finish well.
Looking back over this whole assignment, I wouldnt really change a thing. I like my
choice of partner and our choice of topic, I also like how everything turned out, despite the time

constraints, and I really liked our presentation. I would rate Tariq as a 10/10 kind of partner
because he is a great guy with a good sense of humor, a certain level of charisma that he brings
into the mix, and a great work ethic. He deserves an A.
