VACANCY
APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ENERGY
AND WATER UTILITIES REGULATORY AUTHORITY
Pursuant to Section 10(2) of the EWURA Act (Cap 414), The Nomination Committee hereby
invites suitable candidates for appointment to the Board of Directors of the Energy and Water
Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) to fill one vacancy.
Qualifications Required
Pursuant to Section 2 of the First Schedule of Cap 414, the Nomination committee shall
consider for the appointment to the Board of Directors of EWURA candidates with the following
qualifications:
a) Graduate of a recognized University;
b) At least ten (10) years experience in one or more management, law, economics, finance
or engineering;
c) Knowledge of the industry;
d) He/ She is unlikely to have conflict of interest under Section 12 of Cap 414;
e) Willing to serve as a member and
f) Suitable to perform the functions and duties of a member competently and honestly.
Applicants from suitable candidates enclosing certified copies of relevant certificates and
curriculum vitae (CV) should reach the undersigned within three weeks from the date of the
first appearance of this publication. The CV should include names, address and contact
