Deforestation Vs.

Reforestation
Forests cover about 31 percent of our Earth's landscape, but each year we lose forest the
size of Panama. Many endangered animals rely on these to survive, and many other animals are
becoming endangered because we are destroying their habitats, their homes. And they aren't the
only one we put in danger by continuing deforestation. Forests lessen the global greenhouse
emission, which is steadily growing each year, leading to the expansion of global warming. Also,
by removing forest, we remove a massive source of our oxygen. Slowly, we are making our
Earth unlivable.

Through reforestation, we bring back the homes of thousands or animals. We also save
our source of oxygen and reduce both climate change and global warming. The Earth that we
love can continue to be a habitable place for all of its creatures, including us! Check out the
links below to see how you can contribute to saving the forest, and to learn more about our
environment.
