Sing Dinah 3-4 times to get the key and basis of the song in the students heads.

Break the song up into four parts 1. No one in the house but Dinah Dinah 2. No one in
the house but me I know 3. No one in the house but Dinah Dinah 4. Strummin on the
open Jo

Once the students can repeat part one after you then go on to part two

After part two is solid, sing part one and two together and have the students repeat

Do the same with part three and four then sing the entire song once and have the students
fuse them together.

Change Dinah to my name and have them sing it

Once the students have tried my name have them sing their own name

After singing their own name have them sing another classmates name.
