Professional Growth Plan

Goals for the first year of teaching:

Organize my classroom
Engage my students every day in class
Have all my students test 80% or more on their final grades
Teaching and informing students about the Hispanic cultures. Make at least one field trip
with my students to a Hispanic cultural event, restaurant, museum or festival
5. Have completed lesson plans and activities organized for each day of the week
Long-term goals (a five-year plan):
1. Complete my master degree on Education in Higher and Postsecondary Education
2. Work in a community college or at ASU
3. Make a 3 week- summer trip to a Hispanic country with my students. We will travel to
study Spanish, history and culture.
4. Participate in a professional organization
5. Attend to professional conferences to continue learning and growing professionally
