THE TOWER
SUMMARY
The story starts in the place in Italy. Il Signore is a eccentric man who thinks the whole
world revolves around him. Francesca is assistant and she invites everyone to the inaugural
ceremony of the newly Statue. The statue was sculpted by Giovanni who works for Il
Signore.
Just before the ceremony, Allegra arrive in the place. Allegra is a young and she decides to
reopen her grandmothers restaurant the golden egg because she finishing her studies in
Paris.
Il Signore gives the order and the statue is revealed. Allegra cant hide her surprise after
that Il Signore is insulted by Allegras reaction. Il Signore knows that her presence in town
represents a threat to his plans.
Giovanni was a proud of this statue, but now feel sad because he thinks Allegra was
laughing at his creation. He had lived all his life in Pisa under rule of Signore, and never
questions his motives. In order to regain control of the situation, Il Signore shocks the town
with a new announcement. he will build the highest tower in the world. Giovanni is
oredered to begin the construction inmediately.
The construction of the tower begins.

REVIEW
The story "The tower" speaks of the good feelings of a person because Allegra wants to
reopen the old restaurant of his grandmother and publicize their delicious recipes.
Moreover Il Signore is an arrogant, eccentric person who is alone because Francesca and
Giovanni realize that Il Signore is not a good person. Allegra seeks to realize their dreams
and achieve reopen the restaurant for their good wishes and actions.
It is very important not to be an arrogant person that can stay alone, as he happened to Il
Signore.
