Rigor Definition

In my opinion, the third definition is the most accurate descriptor for
the course because it indicates the need for discomfort and challenge. In the
past, my English classes havent been very challenging. The teachers
oftentimes did a poor job of keeping the students accountable by not
checking assignments or being very lazy in regards to the composition of the
tasks. I believe that in order to master something, a challenge is absolutely
necessary. I find it impossible to get better at something that you already
find easy. This class couldnt be considered a legitimate college course if
there wasnt a lot of effort required to receive an A.
