Teaching
1 was like many children who were unsure what they wanted to “be when they grow up”.
Growing up, I was indecisive about what exactly I wanted to do when 1 entered the adult world.
Whenever asked, my answers varied from an actress to a crime scene invéstigator. Throughout
the course of my life, however, I was consistently drawn to teaching. Teaching was my gift and
seems to always have been; I can recall in elementary school, assisting peers on the long dull bus
tide home with homework assignments, being asked by teachers to help my classmates better
‘understand a lesson previously taught, and the joy 1 found in the ability to bring clarity and
understanding to my fellow peers.
