I AM…..
I am a daughter, student, friend, and a complex
person within. I have many struggles that make
me a unique person, but it has been these same
struggles that made me stronger than a concrete
foundation. Life with disabilities is like life in a
prison because it presents many challenges for me.
I try not to allow these challenges to consume my
very essence. It is a constant struggle within
because what I expect from me is very different
than what others expect from me.
I am a loving, not always kind, but compassionate
young lady. I am imperfect, but these
imperfections make me the person that I am today.
I am God fearing, respectful, and sometimes a
scared little girl. Life is such a huge responsibility
and I often kick it to the curb because I rather have
fun, but on this journey of life I am discovering who
I am…..
