RE: Suicide in America: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention works to help the stopping of suicide. They try
to prevent and understand suicide through the research, education, and advocacy. The AFSP
funds scientific research for suicide and mental disorders and offer educational programs for
professionals about suicide and how to prevent it. They also educate the public of mood
disorders and promote policies and legislation that impacts suicide and its prevention.
