Both MH Chapter 20 and RWS Chapter 3 talk about plagiarism. In MH Chapter

20, the reading gives out effective resources that students should use in an essay. Also,
the reading explains how a student can avoid plagiarism. Its very common that student
plagiarize especially when they dont do their work on time. This problem happens
mostly in high school but when students plagiarize in college, its a serious matter. I also
learned good tips for the MLA and APA style. Sometimes when Im doing a paper I get
confused with both MLA and APA style because they are so different, yet students think
they are the same. In RWS Chapter 3, the reading talks about plagiarism and important
methods students should use for their essays, for example quotation marks. Also, this
chapter explains the meaning of RWS. By reading this two chapters I learned many
things that I didnt know. For example plagiarism, if you dont cite your work properly
then youre plagiarizing.
