1. Preheatovento400degreesF(200degreesC).
2. Placesquashandonioninalargeskilletovermediumheat.Pourinasmallamountofwater.
Cover,andcookuntilsquashistender,about5minutes.Drainwell,andplaceinalarge
bowl.
3. Inamediumbowl,mixtogethercrackercrumbsandcheese.Stirhalfofthecrackermixture
intothecookedsquashandonions.Inasmallbowl,mixtogethereggsandmilk,thenaddto
squashmixture.Stirin1/4cupmeltedbutter,andseasonwithsaltandpepper.Spreadintoa
9x13inchbakingdish.Sprinklewithremainingcrackermixture,anddotwith2tablespoons
butter.
4. Bakeinpreheatedovenfor25minutes,oruntillightlybrowned.
