Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop culture originated in New York among black and Latino ghetto. The
real birthplace is considered to be the South Bronx- the back ghettos of New York,
one of the poorest quarters. The word hip-hop did not yet exist, it was invented a
few years later, when already grownup culture needed some overall little, by a
legendary Dj Africa Bambaataa. Then in 1967 to South Bronx came Clive Campbell
from Jamaican who was labeled Kool Herc. Hip-Hop music has evolved such as
show business, discos, and cinema to contemporary Fusin.
Old school hip-hop (also known as old skool) describes the earliest
commercially recorded hip- hop. Old school is noted for its relatively simple
rapping techniques compared to later hip-hop music. There were different types
of techniques such as battle rap was also a part of old school hip-hop. Then
freestyle rap during hip-hop old school had a different definition it has today. The
image styles and sound were by figures like Kurtis Blow, Doug E Fresh, The Fat
Boys, and LL Cool J. In the early 80s rappers appearing on MTV and gained greater
exposure. Hip-Hop continued its rise to glory in the 1905.
When it came to the 90s 2Pac joined Digital Underground as a dancer and a
roadie. The Notorious BIG is featured in the unsigned Hype Column of the source.

Then later on 2Pac is robbed and shot 5 times in a New York recording studio. He
later recovers from the shooting, but months after he is later sentence to 8
months in prison. At the age of 24 Snoop Dogg and his body guard McKinley lee
are acquitted of the murder of Phillip Woldemariam who was only 20 years old at
the time, but he was an Ethiopian immigrant gunned down on August 1993. After
on September 7th Tupac Shakur is fatally wounded after multiple gun shots were
fired as he rode in a car driven by Death Row Records. The later after Notorious
Big is shot and killed March 9, after a party at the Peterson Automotive Museum
in Los Angeles. Both murders have yet to be solved.
The time finally approach when it came to the 2000s. There were artists
such as Eminem, Drake, Lil Wayne, Usher, Lil Kim, Trina, and Nelly. Now in the
2000s Dr. Dre files a lawsuit against MP3 swapping firm Napster. The songs
embrace the spirit of the 2000S. Like the theme music to a good movie which
underscore a unique decade in hip-hop. The modern fashion begun when there
was Phat Farm, Baby Phat, Sean John, Apple Bottom Jeans, Roca Wear, G-Unit,
and Makavel. These types pf clothing was such a big different because a lot of
people wanted to wear these name brand clothes. Now today people dont wear
these clothes types of clothes because each and every one of them has gone out
of style.
Hip-Hop is not the same anymore. It truly has really taken a really big toll
on society. Its fashion and music isnt the same anymore. The music that was
brought up taught a lot about the well-being about life. Now today the music we
have doesnt speak the truth about life and realty. Every song thats being
broadcasted on the radio stations have to a little sex, money, smoking weed,

drinking, and even going to strip clubs. Time has changed so much, but where did
it go in the last 30 years. Only the artists who were brought up in the 80s, 90s and
2000s might have a better chance at changing the hip-hop the way it us to be.
