SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES

There is value in instituting a district wide program to

support emergency care in the school Health Office. An
example of best practice is to have a uniform system of
emergency response supplies for each school Health
Office that is packed identically to facilitate access to
those supplies by district school health professionals in
an emergency at any site within the district. The district
school nurses should always follow guidance as directed
by their schools Medical Director and district Counsel.
