OBJECTIVES:
Psychomotor
1. The student will perform the task of dancing the hustle as instructed, in a somewhat confident
proficient habitual manner.
Cognitive
1. The student will combine several different step patterns to create the dance as instructed by the
teacher.
Affective
1. The student will be attentive to the instruction and willing participate in the performance of the
dance as instructed by the teacher.

Introductory/Warm-up Activity:
3.1 Participate in appropriate warm-up and cool-down exercises for particular physical activities.
Lesson Focus:
1.2 Demonstrate the ability to use smooth transitions when connecting one movement phrase to
another.

PART 1: INTRODUCTORY/WARM-UP ACTIVITY (2-5 mins):

show then the steps in sections, and then put all
the moves together and do the hustle.
