Rhetorical Situation- the set of circumstances within which a person writes or reads
a text. Whatever situation you find yourself in, such as texting or on social media
you are still using rhetoric. It does not matter how formal or informal the situation
is.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2 covers all of the prewriting stages; it is very interesting that the first step
for assessing the topic and developing a thesis statement is about what interests
you. It asks why are you interested in this topic? Also what features of the topic
interests you most? Your interests you in the topic is what makes you want to put in
the effort.
