Dear Ms. Flies,

My name is Kyle Hauskens and I am very interested in being considered for employment as a
Student Teacher in the Columbia College Child Care Center. I found out about this job by
going to school on campus and wanting to work with children.

My work background includes experience at my Aunts preschool in Knights Ferry where I was
playing and teaching eleven children. During circle time we would practice ABCs, days of the
week, months of the year, and read books that tied in to what we were learning that day. I
supervised children on the playground that was only a couple feet from the river. My hobbies
include coloring which works on gross and fine motor skills. I am also very family oriented, so it
is important to me that my families feel comfortable and trust me to teach their children. I am a
fast learner and would love the opportunity to work for this center.

I would love to meet with you and discuss my background deeper as well as discuss what I could
