Silvia Domingo-Irigoyen received her MSc in Research in Applied Engineering at TECNUN

in 2011. In 2010 she finished the Bachelor of Architecture and a specialization program in
Planning and Urban Development at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra
(ETSAUN). Since 2009 she is part of the research group SAVIArquitectura from the Department
of Construction Science at ETSAUN.
At the moment, she is working on her PhD "Cost-effective scenarios for the refurbishment
of residential buildings. Application to Do.Co.Mo.Mo. listed buildings in Pamplona. She
also coordinates the subjects "Energy Management. Passive measures (6ECTS)" and "Building
Environmental Certification (6ECTS)" of the Master's Degree in Environmental Design and
Building Management at the School of Architecture from the University of Navarra. As part of
her PhD studies she has conducted a research stay of 6 months at ETH Zurich, within the
group Architecture & Sustainable Building Technologies.
