ePortfolio Reflection Page
For the last major assignment in ENC 1101, we were asked to create a
website portfolio where all of the major assignments we wrote throughout the
semester are available for anyone to view. By using a free website domain, I was
able to create an aesthetically pleasing ePortfolio that displays all of my work. My
website is easy to navigate but still is very pleasing to the eye.
One of the most difficult parts of the assignment was compacting all of the
different essays onto 5 pages of the portfolio. The website I used to create my
portfolio only allowed 5 pages on a website or else they would charge me. My goal
was to make the portfolio organized so all of the essays and peer reviews were easy
to find. It became harder than I thought it would because the assignments are all so
different, so including some of them together didnt make sense.
I really like how the way my ePortfolio looks. It has a very minimalistic style
to it but still looks very professional. For the ePortfolio assignment, I got to basically
create my own website and Ive never been assigned something like that before. I
actually prefer completing assignments like this because it doesnt feel tedious like
writing a long paper; Id rather complete several short papers on different topics
and compile them all together on an ePortfolio.

Designing my own ePortfolio was my favorite assignment in ENC 1101. There
were limited rules so I could create my own portfolio based on my personality and
what I thought looked best. I was pleasantly surprised this was the last major
assignment because I was expecting something more structured and uninteresting. I
hope ENC 1102 utilizes technology as much as ENC 1101 has done because it makes
completing the work more exciting.
