A powerful image

I recently viewed a spoken word poem dealing with racism. The author was of
Middle Eastern descent and he talked about racist experiences he was involved in
and witnessed. The author would sarcastically laugh after describing each situation.
I think he did this because he wanted to demonstrate how someone would react
when in a racist situation. They would just brush it off and act like it is not a big deal
when in actuality it is.
