A 21st Century, problem-solving

course designed to give students opportunities to develop multi-literacy skills.

Students will engage in individual work at first to establish the basis for a problem

solving process. The course will progress into group work with a real-world connection.

Students are in need of courses that are relevant to the type of work they might be

doing in college and future careers. Rather than focusing on building knowledge,

this course has students develop skills and self-advocate by pursuing areas of interest

where they will use their skills to enact change in the community around them.

This will be an elective course for sophomores through seniors. Because the course
