The Candidates understanding of the Learner and Learning: Learner Development; Learner
Differences; and Learning Environments
Kati is doing a wonderful job getting to know our children. She earned the childrens respects as she
gets to know them one on one personally. Our children warm up to her as she began her second
week of teaching. Kati works with whole group, small groups as well as individual student daily. Kati
is a quick learner. As students enter the room first thing in the morning, Kati is right there helping
them settle with Journal writing, practice hand writing skills and reading silently. She walks around
and makes sure all kids are on task. Kati also do our Opening of the day by reading to our children.
We all enjoy having Kati being a part of our classroom. She will give our first spelling pre-test on
Monday.

Kati is doing a great job learning the first grades curriculum. She goes out of her way to find extra
materials to enhance our lessons.
The Candidates understanding of Professional Responsibility: Professional Learning and Ethical
Practice; and Collaboration and Leadership
Our children view Kati as one of the teachers in the classroom. They listen and follow directions
when given. Kati has not missed a single day of teaching. She comes in ready to teach and is
excited about our day. She loves being a part of our classroom and is doing a fantastic job working
with our children. Kati treats our children with kindness and cares for them. We feel very lucky to
have Kati being a part of our class.
