https://history.state.gov/milestones/1937-1945/american-isolationism this is a
great article for me to reasch because it has all kinds of informatiion that i will and might
need. It goes into detail about the beginning of America in their practice of isolationism.
Americas first major influence in the movement to isolationism would be from George
washington, fond in his farewell address advising America to stay out of foreign affairs;
stating that only war would come out of it. America becomes the super power and
powerful ally to other countries around the time of the first world war, America entered
this war late and had a lot of weapons and troops to help win the war, many nations
relied on America for their help.

"Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia, 6th Edition is a article all

about isolationism and how it effects a nation in positive and negative ways. It
gives plenty of perspectives from isolationist and neo-isolationist parties in
various nations, and various times in history. This article goes into detail about
every nation to ever practice isolationism. Its important to obtain a clear view in
which a nation sees themselve in regard to isolationist policies. This article has a
lot of great material for my paper and well be a great help to me.
