Rationales For Each Genre

GENRE: SCRAPBOOK which was a digital scrapbook. I made a digital
scrapbook to show and emphasize how much technology has changed and improved
giving us access to more information for our brains to process and to get more vast and
extensive information. The bigger and better they built computers the more information
we could take in giving us opportunities for the web to change the way we think, it made
us think differently from what were able to see and get and not being limited to
information. The message I was trying to convey was how the internet has improved
from the past to the present expanding the information that our brains can process,
because about twenty or so years ago computers were small and limited our brains to
only small amounts of information. Since then, the world of technology has broadened
and now is more powerful and faster than ever before.

Genre: Magazine Article The magazine article I created was an article about
the internet and how it affects our childrens brains. Childhood is the stage is where the
internet starts to affects our brains .The message I was trying to convey was that the
internet starts to affect our brains from when were young filling our brains with good and
bad information but its up to parents to let it affect our childrens brains, to stop the

cycle from childhood. I was emphasizing the message to parents to limit their childrens
time on the internet so it wont become their lifestyle habit- an addiction to their brains.

Genre: Conversation I Created an online conversation on is the internet

changing the way we think for the better or worse? This genre allowed me to
communicate my opinions on my topic and to receive others opinion all over the world.
The message I was trying to convey was where I stand on the issue, but trying to receive
different opinions on it to see different perspectives from different people of whether the
internet is harmful to the way we live and think or not?

Genre: AD The ad I created was a picture of a boy having access to the internet
through different types of technology because the addiction people need in order for their
brains function which is changing the way our brains operate. , Our brains can depend on
the internet with our brains inability to work properly without it. The message I was
trying to convey was to not let the internet become an addiction because it not only
change the way we think but your life.

Genre: Persuasive Essay I wrote my on Why the internet is a dynamic force

to our Brains? We can process good and bad information on the internet that constantly
changes for the worse every day , the internet can serve as our brains master( a powerful
force to our brains, it uses the information it gives us to and keeps it fed with steady
never ending information. The message I was trying to convey is why the internet plays a

big part in our lives and can take control over our brains but its all up to us to decide
were going to do with the information our brains process Are we going to use it to better
shape our lives and future generation or use it negatively?.
