Inception, a Movie to Watch

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Dom Cob, a specialized thief that has the skills required
to steal and extract thoughts or ideas in the human mind. With these acquired skills,
opportunities are not far behind. Cob has one last choice to take a job that could possibly
reunite him with his family or to stay a fugitive and die alone. As Cob decides to redeem
himself by accomplishing the impossible task of inception. A job as complicated as
planting an idea in someones mind will take Cobb and his team of highly specialized
architects and engineers to a new level of danger. A danger of death, that only Dom Cobb could
have only seen coming. All this, along with the interesting plot, special effects, and acting
makes this a movie one to remember.
The interesting plot in the Movie Inception is unlike anything you have seen before.
The concept of entering someones unconscious mind while they are sleeping will have your
brain spinning in different directions. But thats not it, while inside the mind of the dreamer
Cob can steal, extract, and even plant thoughts in the human mind. After taking this
technique to the extreme, Cob is required to travel deep inside the subject. This is the
interesting part; the job requires Cob to travel into the persons dream then travel into the
dream of the previous dream, then travel into the dream of the dream within the dream.
This type of travel is very unique and interesting which makes the plot more confusing. All this
complexity is hard to understand and very hard to describe. This only leaves you with more
reasons to want to watch the movie.
The special effects that are used to make this movie are thrilling and unreal. In
scenes such as the Limbo and the snowy fight scene you witness mass amounts of special
effects that increase the appearance of the movie. In the Limbo scene, you watch as a

massive city of sky scrapers, hotels, and office buildings crumble and fall to pieces right
on the shoreline of a vacant beach before all the buildings are washed away. You also see
the once thriving city turn to dust and blow away with the wind like it was once never there.
The snowy fight scene on the other hand shows different kinds of special effects. While in
this scene you see a heavily guarded fortress covered in snow tucked away into the peak of
a foreign mountain range armed to the teeth with armed guards, armor, and attack
vehicles. As the scene continues, Cob and his team ambush the fortress sounding an
alarm which triggered mass amounts of explosions, deaths, and chaos. Along with all the action,
Cobs team fights back using snipers, rifles, machine guns, grenades, and charged explosives
creating one heck of a fight scene. The special effects in this movie will definitely have you
sitting on the edge of your seat, along with your eyes fixed to your television screen. This
component is a key factor that creates a great movie and Inception nailed it on the head with
their special effects.
The last and most important key factor to Inception being a great movie is the
acting. Leonardo DiCaprio does a fantastic job at playing his character. In the movie,
Dominic Cob is presented as stern, tough, a loving father, and a thief. DiCaprio demonstrates the
tough side of his character in the scene where he fights the fortress guards. The acting lets the
viewers see the struggle and pain that Dom Cob is fighting through, thus making the scene more
realistic. On the other hand, DiCaprio also plays as loving father. In the scene where Don Cob
finally sees his childrens faces he is left without words. As he approaches them playing, relief
rushes over and tears of joy emerge. The fact that after all these years he is finally able to see
them face to face is a real tear jerker. This type of acting really catches your emotions and makes
you feel happy for Cob. The acting is a plus in Inception and really helps it become a movie you
will remember.
Inception, a movie with an amazing plot, mind-blowing special effects, and
extraordinary acting will make you want to see a sequel. The movie will leave you with
many unanswered questions, plenty of confused thoughts, and will leave your head on a swivel
with its interesting plot. This movie is one of which you have never seen anything like. The

mind blowing special effects will leave you sitting on end. Whether you are a DiCaprio fan or
not you will defiantly enjoy this movie. I recommend this movie to everyone and give it a
two thumbs up.
