After looking at the graph displayed a

Heart rate is major component of
slightly upwards trend showing that as
cardiovascular fitness . Resting heart rate is ones Resting heart rate increased ones
an important aspect in cardiovascular fitness level of exertion would increase .
as it determines one capacity for exertion.
However, hen looking at the data on
Exertion refer to the level of energy which
the graph, there ere perceived with
one expends during physical activity. Often, fairly low (-70 bpm) Resting heart rates
one who has a low resting heart rate
but with fairly high exertion levels. Thu,
experiences a lower level of exertion when it can be assumed clearly that resting
preforming the same activity as Compared
heart rate I not the only factor
to one who has a higher resting heart rate. determining perceived exertion level.
Typically, if on resting heart rate decreases,
her/his level of perceived exertion would
decrease as result of resting heart rate being
as a major component of fitness.
Methods
Our class obtained resting heart rate and
perceived exertion during it performance of
the exergaming project. The exergaming
project involved our class first counting their
resting heart rate. Next, e played the dance
games Just Dance and Dance Central. Then
after plying recorded our perceived exertion
ranking on cl from 0 to 10 with 0 being
extremely easy and 10 being all out effort.

After performing this study, I discovered

there to be moderate but not extremely
high correlation between resting heart
rate and perceived exertion . To certain
extend, resting heart rate helps to
determine perceived exertion level with
focusing on the principle that the slower
your resting heart rate I the more
effective it becomes with pumping blood
during exercise. As a result, on who h low
resting heart rate experiences lower level
of exertion due to the fact that one is
supplying oxygen more effectively to
ones cells. In addition, the results of the
study clearly that resting heart rat I not
the only factor determining perceived
exertion. Additional factors may include
BMI, lung capacity and muscular
endurance.
