Beloved son and brother

Taylor William Olsen was born December 31st, 1992, at University of Utah Hospital, Utah

Riley (20) and Madison (19).
Early on in his life it became very clear that Taylor had a strong passion for the
performing and arts. At age one and a half Taylor gathered a permanent marker and drew all
over the cupboards of their West Jordan home, he has loved to draw, albeit more responsibly,
ever since. It was at this home that he gained two sisters: Riley and Madison. After the birth of
his second sister he and his family moved to a larger home in South Jordan, Utah, where they
have presided since, it was here that Taylor discovered his great love for music and literature. At
age eight Taylor truly began to love reading. Starting with simple school reading assignments to
Harry Potter series, Taylor loved to read. At age ten he had fully read Victor Hugos Les
Misrables before the end of his life Taylors goal was to finish each of the 3,107 novels on his
Nook.
Taylor learned to play the piano at eleven and graduating to the symphonic and jazz bass
at seventeen. During his years at Bingham High School, Taylor was a member of the Symphonic
Strings Orchestra, both intermediate and competition jazz bands and First Seat Bass in the
Bingham Symphony. It was here that he met many of his close friends and expands his

knowledge of music to its many genres and styles. His favorite genres were always classical jazz
and symphonic performances and soon after various form of heavy metal and rock.

Aside from his love for music, Taylor also had many other hobbies to fill his time. He
loved games in their various forms, prominently strategy games that he and his father would
play for long hours together. Taylor also loved animals, particularly his pet tarantulas and cats.
If you ever wanted to know anything about a spider, Taylor was the person to go to. Other
hobbies also included seeing movies at the theatres, maintaining his lawn and yard, exercising
at the local recreational center with his father, cooking various foods and dishes, concerts,
improving his education and spending time with his girlfriend.
Taylor leaves memories to be loved by his parents Thomas and Angie, siblings Riley and
Madison, girlfriend Erin Marie Barnum, as well as his aunts and uncles: Jim (Rolf) Olsen, Rogelio
(Elizabeth Olsen) Garza, Jeffery (Carla) Olsen, Brandon (Gayle), Theodor Olsen and the late John
