THE ART OF FALLING


PERFORMANCE RIDER
This Performance Rider for The Art of Falling (hereinafter RIDER) accompanies the Agreement attached.
I.

COMMUNICATION

All communication between COMPANY and PRESENTER are to be responded to within 24 (twenty-four)
hours.
II.

ASSIGNMENT

This RIDER or accompanying Agreement cannot be assigned to any other party. No deletion,
modification, or alteration to this RIDER or Agreement can be made without an Addendum signed by
both parties.
This RIDER and Agreement are complete contracts to be between the parties in respect to the
Engagement.
III.

FRONT-OF-HOUSE

PRESENTER agrees to staff all necessary Front-of-House (hereinafter FOH) staff, including but not limited
to box office manager, box office staff, concession staff, bartenders (with proper licensing), House
Manager, Assistant House Managers, ushers, and custodial staff.
PRESENTER agrees to furnish the FOH with all billing necessary, including but not limited to donor signs,
casting notices, and signs prohibiting photography and videography.
IV.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
A. EQUIPMENT
a. COMPANY agrees to provide all necessary technical equipment, properties, and
costumes for Engagement, including performance(s) and master classes.
b. PRESENTER agrees to provide the necessary spaces to complete the Engagement.
B. TECHNICIAN STAFFING
a. PRESENTER shall supply COMPANY with 7 technicians to be used for Load-In and LoadOut, as well as the set-up of all lighting and sound equipment.
b. PRESENTER shall supply COMPANY with at least one hospitality specialist familiar with
the area, and will be present for all rehearsals and performance(s).
c. PRESENTER shall supply 12 stagehands for spotlight operating, run crew, and rigging.
C. STAGE
a. PRESENTER herein confirms that the stage diameters are at least ___x___.
b. PRESENTER confirms that during duration of Engagement, the stage is not being used by
any other parties.

c. PRESENTER confirms that, once set up, no take down of equipment will be necessary
until the end of the Engagement.
D. EQUIPMENT
a. A standard piano tuned within ninety (90) days of Engagement
IV.

PARKING

PRESENTER shall supply parking spaces for:


a. One (1) Coach Bus and;
b. One (1) Large Truck.
V.

PRODUCTION OFFICE

COMPANY will require one room complete with high speed, wireless internet, a fax line, a landline, and
access to a photocopier.
VI.

DRESSING ROOMS

PRESENTER will provide dressing rooms within reasonable distance from the stage with the following
parameters:
a. Six (6) single person dressing rooms with vanity mirror and clothing rack
b. Two (2) Ensemble dressing rooms (or an even number of dressing rooms, totaling over twenty
five (25) capacity with multiple vanity mirrors and clothing racks
c. Four irons and ironing boards
d. Two clothing steamers
e. One lounge room with couches
f. Access to a refrigerator
g. WiFi access
h. One (1) cot in each ensemble dressing room
i. Access to bathrooms with private or semi-private showers
VII.

HOSPITALITY

PRESENTER agrees to one of the following:


a. A cafeteria meal plan consisting of five (5) meals to be used for any meal
b. A deli spread provided each evening with the following to serve at least 36 people:
i.
Deli tray
ii.
Fruit tray
iii.
Vegetable tray
iv.
Thirty six (36) ounces of hummus
v.
Pita chips
vi.
Skinny pop
vii.
Quinoa (rice cooker will be provided by COMPANY)

Two (2) packages of tofu


Three (3) rotisserie chicken
Three (3) Red Hot Blue Tortilla Chips bags
Red Tostitos medium salsa
Assortment of 100% juices (apple, orange, strawberry kiwi, grape, pineapple)
Bananas, clementines, and apples
Jiff Peanut Butter
Jelly (strawberry, grape, raspberry)
Five (5) loaves of multigrain bread
Coffee (coffee maker provided by COMPANY)
Hot green tea with sliced lemon and honey (water boiler provided by COMPANY)
Trail mix

OR
a. A cafeteria meal plan consisting of ten (10) meals to be used for any meal for thirty six (36)
people
b. A spread left backstage each night consisting of the following to serve thirty six (36) people
a. Fruit tray
b. Vegetable tray
c. Thirty six (36) ounces of hummus
d. Pita chips
e. Quinoa (rice-cooker provided by COMPANY)
f. Three (3) Red Hot Blue Tortilla Chips bags
g. Red Tostitos medium salsa
h. Assortment of 100% juices (apple, orange, strawberry kiwi, grape, pineapple)
i. Bananas, clementines, and apples
j. Coffee (coffee maker provided by COMPANY)
k. Hot green tea with sliced lemon and honey (water boiler provided by COMPANY)
l. Trail mix
BOTH PARTIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS PART OF THE PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT AND IS AN
AGREEMENT IN ITSELF. BREECH OF THIS RIDER IS SUBJECT TO SECTION XII OF PERFORMANCE
AGREEMENT.
BOTH PARTIES SIGNING BELOW ARE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORS OF COMPANY AND PRESENTER
