Describe practices in your classroom:


Children will wash their hands before they sit down at the table to eat lunch, snack
Let the children know that it is time to eat by setting out the chairs at the table,
which this gains their social experiences
Give them the right portions/ healthy choices
Allow the child to feed themselves with appropriate child silverware/ child cups or
even finger food
Adult will cut up their food into bite size pieces
They will get up when finished and a caregivers will wash them up, where they can
go and play at the different centers
