Bit: A bit is short for binary digit. It is the smallest unit of

information in computing and digital communications. It can
only have one of two values, which are commonly known as 0
and 1. The two values can also be explained as logical values,
algebraic signs and activation states. The symbol for bit, as a
unit of information, is either bit or lowercase b. Computers are
sometimes classified by the number of bits they can process at
one time.
Byte: The byte is a unit of digital information in computing and
telecommunications that mostly consist of eight bits. The byte is
the number of bits used to encode a singular character of text in
a computer. It is the smallest addressable unit of memory in
many computer architectures. Large amounts of memory are
registered in terms of kilobytes, megabytes and gigabytes.
Megabyte: The megabyte is a multiple of the unit byte for
digital information. Its symbol is MB. One megabyte is one
million bytes of information.
Binary system: A number system that uses only two values 0
and 1 or on and off to represent codes and data the binary system
is the foundation on which technology is built. Every digital
computer uses the same binary code.

Ram: RAM stands for Random Access Memory which is a

physical memory installed into a computer or storage device as a
floppy disc or hard drive. RAM allows data items to be read and
written in about the same amount of time no matter what order
the data items are accessed.
