RE: Erroneous calculation of Remaining on Board Cargo (R.O.B.)
Dear Sirs,
Purpose of this protest is to reject your alleged R.O.B. quantity as it was wrongly
computed by the Wedge Formula method.
Considering that the remaining cargo is not free flowing and therefore unpumpable, we
are denying any responsibility on vessels behalf. Should you, however, insist in your
allegation, I shall immediately ask for P&I Surveyor to intervene and cover property the
interest involved.
Your immediate reaction to our proposal will be greatly appreciated.
Kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter and oblige in advance.
