I am writing this recommendation letter for Courtney Hydrick, who is applying for a position at your institution. Courtney is currently a student in my French II course this semester, and it is a pleasure to outline her strengths. Courtney has demonstrated a strong work ethic this semester. She completes homework on time, works well in groups, and listens attentively to the presentation of new material. Additionally, Courtney has an excellent attendance record, which has allowed her to make noticeable progress with her French language skills. Specifically, Courtneys tests have progressively improved throughout the semester, and she is acquiring a solid command of the language. Courtney is responsible, courteous, and personable. She appears to have a good relationship with both faculty and students on campus. I am confident that she would establish positive relationships with students and make an excellent colleague. To sum, I believe that Courtney would work hard for your institution and, granted a position, would be a positive addition to your staff. I recommend her highly with enthusiasm. Sincerely, Jennifer E. Hall Professor of French Chair, Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures Director, Center for Global Education
