Organ Sales
Many people have suffered from many diseases that have caused kidney failure or
many other failing organs. In the article, Organ sales will save lives by Joanna Mackay,
the author argues that having illegal organ sales will save many lives but that the
government should regulate the process. It is evident that many people suffer from
traumatic diseases that will be the end of their lives but having organs sales, legally or
illegally it is saving lives. It takes a long waiting list before a person can receive a
donated organ that is why it is crucial to have other helping methods to save these people
lives. Mackay states, If the sale of organs were made legal, it could be regulated and
closely monitored by the government and other responsible organizations, (Mackay 5).
Having this illegal sales should not be worth so much money, instead they should be
closely regulated by the government to both prevent the donor from making a mistake or
to help the client receive a quality help from the donor. I agree with Mackay; anything
that a person can do to help another person is worthwhile and rewarding in the end.
