Star Coupler 23SC60

Application
The Star Coupler 23SC60 is used to connect
decentralized I/O modules of the RTU211. It
is used to extend the serial peripheral bus
over distances of more than app. 50 cm.
The Star Coupler 23SC60 is available in 8
versions (Rubrik):

Plastic Fiber

23SC60 R008n

Glass Fiber
max. 2000 m

Where n is the number of modules within

one plastic enclosure (2 n 5).

Characteristics
The Star Coupler 23SC60 is build by 2 up to
5 interface adaptors 23AD63 in one plastic
enclosure. They are connected in parallel
and to the Wired OR-Bus of the RTU211 by
a special connection cable.
Each interface adaptor 23AD63 is equipped
with two green LEDs, showing the activities
on the bus.
