For my second artifact, I have chosen to use the notes and discussion during conferences
as another artifact for numerous reasons. One reason being that the notes are poignant in the fact
that they address what needs to be addressed. Also the notes given by the grader are insightful.
By insightful I mean they are in detail and are clear in what one must do to fix the mistakes to
improve the paper. In our first conference, you stated that I will need to work on getting at the
So what? question and other key points throughout the paper. This helped me improve a lot on
my next essay because I knew exactly what I will need to work and improve on the next essay.
The notes also give suggestions and ideas that will help move my paper in the direction that it
needs to be going. The one on one that comes along with this is really relaxing and very
comfortable. This is key because when Im comfortable I ask questions and tend to be more
engaged. Not only that but from a different perspective as well. A perspective in which you did
not know what ideas I was going to be talking about which would be a great tactic in seeing if I
successfully explained everything effectively so that an individual that was not exposed to them
could comprehend them.
