Please accept this correspondence as a letter of recommendation for Miss Lauren Cribbs. It was my privilege to
serve as Lauren's University Supervisor during her student teaching experiences. Miss Cribbs gained experience in
both the general and special educations areas of her certifications. Miss Cribs is a hard working individual who
successfully completed both sessions demonstrating a desire to excel at her craft. Miss Cribbs was evaluated in the
four areas listed below:
Planning and Preparation: Miss Cribbs helped to set goals, develop specific objects, create materials, and establish
guidelines for achievement. She came to class prepared and with a strategic plan to accomplish the object for that
day. Miss Cribbs planned with her students specific needs in mind. Her plans often included modifications and
tations necessary to engage the students assigned
Classroom Environment: Miss Cribbs reinforced the existing classroom rules and procedures established in the
‘classroom. Miss Cribbs, utitized classroom management techniques to insure a safe and equitable classroom. An
easy going person, Miss Cribbs easily established an excellent rapport with her students.
Instructional Delivery: Miss Cribbs delivered the instruction with energy and enthusiasm. Her
Interactive and challenging. Miss Cribbs is a good communicator and leads students in a strategic yet creative
‘manner. She demonstrated a good grasp of the content and the concepts to be taught. Miss Cribbs also displayed
flexibility, especially in the Life Skils portion of her assignment.
Professional Development: Miss Cribbs participated in all the activities normally assigned to a teacher in the
respective settings. She quickly became an active and contributing member of the professional staff. Miss Cribbs
‘maintained a professional demeanor throughout her placement. She is a responsible hardworking young educator
‘who accepts constructive criticism and implements the suggestions given.
[tis this writer's opinion that Miss Lauren Cribbs is well prepared to assume a position in either of her
Certifications, Her ability to identify with and work with children is to be commended. She would be a good
