Among New Castle's few surviving early colonial buildings is the elegant brick, early Georgian
mansion, the Amstel House. Built in 1738, the house is graced with original woodwork, fine
architectural details & open hearth. The house's history is linked to many of town's prominent
colonial families.

The Air Mobility Command Museum, located in Hangar 1301 on Dover Air Force Base in
Dover, Delaware, houses some of the most unique and distinguished military flying machines of
the past 50+ years.

Hagley's library houses a major research collection of manuscripts, archives, photographs,
pamphlets, and books documenting the history of American business and technology. As a
member of the Independent Research Libraries Association, the library serves scholars from this

The Nemours Mansion and Gardens is a 300-acre (1.2 km2) country estate with Jardin a
Franaise formal gardens and a Classical French mansion located in Wilmington, Delaware. It
shares the grounds with the Alfred I. Hospital for children and they are both owned by
the Nemours Foundation. The estate is part of the DuPont legacy and is located on the DuPont
Historic Corridor.

Race Track in Dover with the monster statue. Dover International Speedway is a race track in
Dover, Delaware, United States. Since opening in 1969, it has held at least two NASCAR races.
In addition to NASCAR, the track also hosted USAC and the IRL Indy Car Series.

Hale-Byrnes, Delawares society for the preservation of antiquities is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places. It is part of the nine-state Washington-Rochambeau National
Historic Trail and is also the southern anchor site of the federally-designated Wild and Scenic
White Clay Creek. Hale Byrnes House was the first building in Delaware to receive the State
Heritage Plaque.

This was the fourth winery in Delaware spanning the border of Maryland and Delaware. It has

The museum is a tribute to Delawares native son Eldridge Reeves Johnson who founded the
Victor Talking Machine company in 1901. First State Heritage Park is Delaware's first urban
"park without boundaries" linking historic and cultural sites in the city that has been the seat
of state government.
